Chitwan Jungle Safari

Nepal Jungle Safari

Chitwan National Park

One of Nepal’s most popular attractions is the Chitwan National Forest. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy the lush nature of Nepal as well as get up close and personal with some unique forest wildlife.

According to Lonely Planet researchers, the park has over 50 species of mammals; 450 different species of birds, and 67 species of butterfly. And the flora and fauna of this lush jungle are spectacular.

A must-do that is included on every trip is the Elephant Bath (more like a shower). People like to do this at the end of the early morning jungle walk, as the baths start around 11am. The elephants trainer will teach you to shout “Chhop!” — get ready for a blast of water from your new friends trunk!

All this, the Tharu Culture Show and elephant safari ride, plus accomodation, meals and transportation are included in our 3 days, 2 nights trip to Jungle Lagoon Resort. See itinerary below. To add-on days or book rafting transportation to Chitwan, email us at info@nepal-visitor.com.
